Willow Warbler

"Phylloscocpus trochilus"

The willow warbler is a very common bird with grey/green backs and pale bellies.They have a yellow tinged throat and a pale stripe above their eye.

They are amber listed due to a small decline in numbers.

They eat small insects and spiders and fruit and berries.

They measure 10.5 to 11.5cm in length

They have a wingspan of 16 to 22cm

They weigh in at between 7 and 12g.

They are seen between April and September.
