Common Redstart

"Phoenicurus phoenicurus"

Much prettier than the rarer Black Redstart this lovely little bird is rather fond of mealworms.

We visited Colin the Cuckoo (see Cuckoo page)

The Redstart would fly down as soon as

Colin left to grab one of his mealworms!
