Chiloe Wigeon

The Chiloe Wigeon is a medium size duck that is around 45 to 55cm in length.

It has a wingspan of between 75 to 86cm and weighs in at approximately 800g

It feeds on aquatic plants grass and algae

They are monogamous and nests are often found

in bushes and have around 8 to 10 cream or white eggs.

They hatch after 25 days
