Bearded Tit

"Panurus biarmicus"

The Bearded Tit is a small long tailed passerine and is often found in reed beds and is a Schedule 1 species. The male is identifiable by the black "moustache". They eat insects seeds and spiders. They are approximately 12.5cm in length and have a wingspan of between 16 and 18cm. They weigh in at 12 to 18g
